MALVERN, Pa. – Vishay Intertechnology Inc. in Malvern, Pa., is introducing the Sfernice P16F and PA16F panel potentiometers for industrial and audio applications.

These power electronics devices offer integrated knobs and IP67 sealing, a dielectric strength of 5000 volts AC, and power ratings to 1 Watt at 40 degrees Celsius.

By integrating a knob with a panel potentiometer in one component, these potentiometers eliminate the need to purchase and assemble a separate knob. The mounting hardware and terminals are situated on the back to reduce the clearance behind the panel to less than 15 millimeters.

With a conductive plastic resistive element, the PA16F is designed for audio applications, while the cermet P16F is intended for industrial motor drives, welding equipment, HVAC, lighting systems, and control panels. both devices offer IP67 sealing for reliable operation in extreme conditions.

The potentiometers are available with custom knob markings, resistance values, wires, connectors, detent, and switch options. The devices also are available with a metallic knob on request. The P16F and PA16F are tested in accordance with CECC 41000 or IEC 60393-1.
