ANDOVER, Mass. – Mercury Systems Inc. in Andover, Mass., is introducing the Ensemble 6000 series GSC6202 6U OpenVPX general-purpose graphics processor unit (GPGPU) embedded computing module for image processing, artificial intelligence, and computational neural networks in electro-optical., radar signal processing, and electronic warfare (EW) applications.

The GSC6202 GPGPU board has two NVIDIA Pascal or Maxwell-class GPUs with as many as 4096 CUDA cores and 32 gigabytes memory. Connecting the GPUs is a PCI Express Gen 3.0 switch network with dual x16 connections to the backplane.

Advanced cooling technology standards such as Air Flow-By cooling and Liquid Flow-Through cooling enable the use of the fastest GPU chips and PCI Express switches running at full speed even in rugged environments.

The GSC6202 GPGPU module implements VITA 46.11 system management using the standard I2C bus and intelligent platform management controller (IPMC) to enable remote monitoring, event management, hardware revision, and health status.
