MELVILLE, N.Y. – Comtech PST Corp. in Melville, N.Y., is introducing the model BME2719-125 solid-state power amplifier for military RF and microwave applications.

The class AB linear amplifier, which operates over the 20 to 1000 MHz frequency range with output power of 125 Watts into a load voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 3:1.

The amplifier is compact and measures 6.8 by 6.8 by 1.5 inches, and weighs five pounds.

The amplifier has a minimum RF gain of 52 decibels; RF gain flatness of plus-or-minus 3 decibels typical; RF input overdrive of plus 10 dBm; input VSWR or 2:1 maximum; spurious signals of minus 60 dBc; and AB linear class of operation.

The device has a DC input of 18 to 36 volts DC, with optional DC input of 250 to 28 volts DC; 18 amps of maximum DC current, PA enable of 2 microseconds, and infinite load VSWR.

It operates in temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, at altitudes to 20,000 feet, and resists the effects of shock ad vibration to MIL-STD 810F.
