Featuring Juniper Networks Junos vSRX Virtual Firewall. The VSR8000 is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) SWaP-optimized line replaceable unit version of the recently launched VSR347D 3U VPX secure router. The VSR8000 is a rugged standalone COTS system suitable for a wide range of operating environments.
This secure router is for edge of network security, command and control, fire control, electronic warfare, radar, surveillance, situational awareness, imaging, AI and autonomy, rugged industrial and transportation, and other high-performance embedded computing applications.
Leveraging the high-performance capabilities of the Abaco Systems VSR347D running an optimized environment for Juniper Networks vSRX, the VSR8000 offers pin and mechanical compatibility with the RTR8GE, and can be an upgrade to existing systems using the RTR8GE.
The VSR8000 enables secure IPv4/IPv6 connectivity, and provides features such as IPsec VPN, NAT, QoS, and full routing capabilities, to name just a few.
The VSR8000 allows existing RTR8GE users to integrate new high-performance hardware technologies while retaining form, fit and function and application software compatibility.
The VSR8000 meets extreme demands presented by altitude, decompression, overpressure, shock, and vibration. It is qualified to MIL-STD-810H for rain, sand, and salt fog.
