Designers at I-Bus Inc., a Maxwell Technologies company in San Diego, are introducing the TR6, a 6U-high rack-mount system for test/control instrumentation, industrial automation, data communications, and computer telephony.
The enclosure has a large storage capacity and a high slot count in an enclosure designed for 20-inch deep cabinets. It has one or two 400-watt AC or two hot-swappable 400 watt AC power supplies, four front-accessible fans that move air at 49.4 cubic feet per minute, and a shock-mounted drive bay supporting four 5.325-inch and two 3.4-inch disk drives. It has six light-emitting diodes, two reset buttons and two power switches on the front panel. It supports as many as four separate systems in one enclosure.
