INRI UK to supply C4I software for German ships

Engineers at the Inter-National Research Institute (INRI) UK Ltd. in Southampton, England, are supplying the command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) software for the combat management system of new German F-124 class ships. STN Atlas Elektronik GmbH of Bremen, Germany, is the prime contractor for the command control and information system. ICS supports messaging and communications, tracking and correlation, geographic representations, decision-making and planning. INRI UK`s U.S. parent company, Inter-National Research Institute, developed the Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE) for the U.S. Department of Defense — the core software behind ICS, which is the standard system in use throughout the U.S. Navy, the U.K. Royal Navy and NATO.
