Nimrod to use Array Systems software

Engineers at Array Systems Computing Inc. in Toronto are supplying radar imaging software called TriSAR to Racal Radar Defence Systems of Crawley, England, for use in the Nimrod 2000 update of the Royal Air Force Replacement Maritime Patrol Aircraft. Racal experts are building the Searchwater 2000MR radar for each of the 21 operational Nimrod aircraft. TriSAR is based on technology Array experts developed for the Canadian CP-140 maritime patrol aircraft. The TriSAR software enhances the Nimrod radar operator`s ability to image and classify objects of interest.
