Analysts in government agencies and commercial organizations who rely on image-based presentations and briefings to guide their decisions, plans, and operations have a new tool option from Paragon Imaging Inc. of Woburn, Mass. The new ELT/Global Image Viewer software enables users efficiently to view full-frame images such as intelligence reports, situation analyses, and site assessments by panning, roaming, zooming, and adjusting the display of several different images. Paragon officials intend the tool to take the place of more expensive image processing packages designed for imagery specialists, or to substitute for several different tools users employ to access relevant data. The ELT/Global Image Viewer works in Unix, Windows and Internet environments.
