ARLINGTON, Va., 24 March 2005. CACI International Inc. announced today that it has been selected as the prime contractor to support the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Professional Business Information Technology Support Services Contract.

Under the terms of the contract, CACI will offer professional and information technology (IT) services to MSC as it manages processes and programs across its enterprise. This single-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling of $20.4 million and a base of one year with two option years. The majority of the work will take place at MSC Headquarters in Washington D.C. The award positions CACI to expand its core systems integration line of business.

MSC transports equipment, fuel, supplies, and ammunition by sea to support U.S. forces worldwide. During wartime, this can amount to some 95 percent of total supply support. Now MSC is striving to balance current and future IT requirements while transforming business processes and practices to reduce cost and improve overall operational capability. CACI brings its proven experience in systems integration, project management, training, and business process reengineering to help MSC achieve these goals.

With this award, CACI will head a team of six subcontractors offering comprehensive IT support. This includes helping MSC to implement new human resources applications and train users on the technology. It also extends current business process reengineering and systems integration support CACI already provides for MSC's procurement and enterprise-wide financial system. Combined with an overarching training program and focused help desk operations, CACI can now extend this systems integration effort to electronic invoicing and related areas. Throughout, CACI solutions will help MSC maximize system performance, minimize cost, and provide quality and value to the MSC user community.

According to CACI Chairman, President, and CEO Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, "CACI offers demonstrated expertise to help the Military Sealift Command transform its operations and enhance readiness support. Our professional services, systems integration, and business process reengineering solutions assure MSC of high quality and improved productivity. We are dedicated as a company to supporting the goals of our nation and its military, including the vital role played by the Military Sealift Command in keeping our warfighters supplied and ready."
