Air Force industry briefing on Imaging Spectrometer Focal Plane Array set for July 15

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., 1 July 2005. U.S. Air Force researchers will brief industry on the Imaging Spectrometer Focal Plane Array (ISFPA) acquisition July 15 at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, N.M. The briefing is classified secret.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., 1 July 2005. U.S. Air Force researchers will brief industry on the Imaging Spectrometer Focal Plane Array (ISFPA) acquisition July 15 at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, N.M. The briefing is classified secret.

The briefing will focus on large-format arrays, and on current and future-generations of U.S. Department of Defense hyperspectral sensing applications. The intention is to provide a high-performance, large-format array that operates simultaneously in the visible and short-wavelength infrared (SWIR) spectra.

The briefing is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3750 Lowry Ave. SE, Building 423 (Conference Room #200), at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. Individual 20-minute sessions with each potential offeror may be scheduled in advance for that day.

A broad agency announcement with more details about the ISFPA program will be released before the briefing, Air Force officials say.

Attendance will be limited to three personnel per company. All notifications of attendance, list of names attending, phone numbers, appointments for individual sessions, and any questions must be e-mailed by 4 p.m. July 11 to Wayne Zitzka at [email protected].

Attendees must have a current DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, a copy of which must be faxed to Zitzka at 505-846-6022. A visit request will be required, demonstrating secret-level or greater clearance from all attendees.
