CHARLOTTE, N.C., 19 March 2011. Enhanced intelligence sharing technology to support England's deployed forces was provided by Goodrich Corp as part of Project Attacker. Goodrich's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems business provided federated ISR data management systems to enhance geospatial intelligence sharing systems as part of the program.
"The aim of Attacker is to allow UK forces to share the vast amount of information collected by their ISR sensor systems. The Goodrich Intelligence Reference Library and MERLIN Imagery Exploitation Systems enable rapid near real-time review and exploitation of ISR data to provide timely and actionable intelligence direct to commanders on the ground where and when it is required," says Sam Macleod, managing director of Goodrich ISR Systems in Malvern, England.
Goodrich ISR systems are designed to be fully compliant with NATO Standards and are based on open systems architectures to allow ease of integration with a variety of existing and ISR and command and control (C2) systems.
