ORLANDO, Fla., 9 Sept. 2011. API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY)--provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure solutions for defense, aerospace, and commercial customer--won a $2.5 million order to produce circuit-board assemblies for specialized surveillance equipment for the Department of Defense and law-enforcement agencies. Engineers in API's Systems, Subsystems & Solutions (S3) division will deliver the systems this quarter.

(NASDAQ:ATNY)--provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure solutions for defense, aerospace, and commercial customer--won a $2.5 million order to produce circuit-board assemblies for specialized surveillance equipment for the Department of Defense and law-enforcement agencies. Engineers in API's Systems, Subsystems & Solutions (S3) division will deliver the systems this quarter.

The S3 division provides equipment and subsystems for surveillance applications. "We see continued strong demand for surveillance solutions both in the U. S. and overseas given the need for safety and security in everyday life as well as military assignments," says Bel Lazar, API Technologies president and chief operating officer.
