DynCorp International wins $20.9 million to operate, maintain communications suites on military sealift command vessels

FALLS CHURCH, Va., 3 Sept. 2011. DynCorp International (DI) won a U.S. Navy contract calling for the operation and maintenance of communication suites aboard Military Sealift Command vessels. The fixed-price contract has one base year and four option years with a total contract value of $20.9 million, if all options are exercised. DI staff providing operations and maintenance services will support three maritime prepositioning squadrons as well as up to nine Joint High Speed Vessels (JHSV); the first JHSV project begins October 1 in Mobile, Ala.

The first contract award win was in July 2001 and spanned five years; a second follow-on award in was signed in Oct. 2006, also spanning five years.
