TCS wins $8.3 million Department of Defense professional services contract

ANNAPOLIS, Md., 16 Aug. 2008. TeleCommunication Systems Inc. (TCS), a provider of mission-critical wireless communications, has received an $8.3 million contract to provide a Department of Defense (DoD) Command with communications professional services. The delivery of these professional services will be over the four quarters ending in July 2009.

(TCS), a provider of mission-critical wireless communications, has received an $8.3 million contract to provide a Department of Defense (DoD) Command with communications professional services. The delivery of these professional services will be over the four quarters ending in July 2009.

TCS will provide information technology support/command, control, communications, and computer information management (C4IM), visual information, and video teleconferencing professional services.

"TCS has a strong past-performance record in delivering professional services to the federal government and this is yet another example of a major DoD Command putting their confidence in our capabilities," says Michael Bristol, senior vice president of TCS' Government Solutions Group.
