Shared Spectrum teams with Raytheon to employ DSA software in EPLRS-XF military radio

VIENNA, Va., 9 Oct. 2009. Shared Spectrum Company (SSC), a provider of Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) wireless technology, and Raytheon's Network Centric Systems are teaming to use SSC's DSA software on the Raytheon Enhanced Position Location and Reporting System -- eXtended Frequency (EPLRS-XF) radios.

VIENNA, Va., 9 Oct. 2009. Shared Spectrum Company (SSC), a provider of Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) wireless technology, and Raytheon's Network Centric Systems are teaming to use SSC's DSA software on the Raytheon Enhanced Position Location and Reporting System -- eXtended Frequency (EPLRS-XF) radios.

The Raytheon EPLRS-XF is a software-programmable, wireless networking system that provides fast, reliable, tactical data communication with wideband-frequency operation. SSC's DSA software suite includes beyond state-of-the-art spectrum sensing and sharing algorithms and innovative policy-based software controls.
