MANASSAS, Va., 31 October 2006. NASA has employed BAE Systems' radiation-hardened computers and solid-state recorders on its Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) spacecraft, which is on a mission to study the effects of the sun's solar flares.
