SAN ANTONIO, Texas, 20 October 2006. Integration partner Palmer Electric has selected VIEWpoint Surveillance Management products, built on ONE Unified Technology, from MDI Inc., a manufacturer of Unified Technology solutions for the security industry, to secure six buildings at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.
Peterson Air Force Base is home of the 21st Space Wing and Air Force Space Command. MDI's VIEWpoint products will be installed and supported by Palmer to provide surveillance management and pre-emptive video security across the complex.
The initial product order is set to follow a phased distribution timeline, which is expected to cover a six month integration period. Palmer is also in the process of installing a fiber-optic network backbone to the development.
