SI International part of USfalcon team awarded U.S. Army S3 contract

RESTON, Va., 27 April 2006. SI International Inc., an information technology and network solutions (IT) company, is a member of the USfalcon Inc. team that has been awarded a U.S. Army Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract. The contract supports the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC) with engineering, logistics, and business operations services.

SI International Inc., an information technology and network solutions (IT) company, is a member of the USfalcon Inc. team that has been awarded a U.S. Army Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract. The contract supports the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC) with engineering, logistics, and business operations services.

The USfalcon team is one of seven teams awarded the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a 5-year base period and one five-year option with an estimated value of $19.25 billion, inclusive of the option period. Task order awards under the contract will be based upon competition among the contract holders.

Under the contract, the USfalcon team will provide support services for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Services to be performed under the contract include systems engineering, software development, program management and analysis, logistics, modeling and simulation, information operations/assurance support, facilities management, and sustainment and support.
