CENTENNIAL, Colo., 18 Oct. 2010. AdamWorks LLC, a Colorado-based supplier of advanced engineering and manufacturing solutions, won a subcontract by Lockheed Martin as part of its four-year contract award to supply the Finnish Air Force with an airborne surveillance system and associated ground system. Under the subcontract, AdamWorks will design and manufacture structures and subsystems to support the modification of an EADS CASA C-295 turboprop aircraft for the inclusion of an advanced surveillance system.
"AdamWorks is honored and excited to be working with Lockheed Martin to deliver this surveillance system to the Finnish Air Force," says Kim Burquest, president of AdamWorks. "We believe that our expertise in advanced composite structures provides a unique capability to the team and we are excited to be working with a contractor and customer of this caliber."
