Sypris Electronics, LLC, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., received certification from the U.S. Government for its RASKL (KIK-30) electronic key fill device. RASKL is one of the first modern KYK-13 replacement devices to receive a high assurance National Security Agency (NSA) certification for tactical use. The Really Simple Key Loader, or RASKL, is a modernized electronic key fill product used to load electronic keying data into secure communications equipment. RASKL is ruggedized, small, lightweight, requires no formal training, and implements a one-button key squirt process for loading electronic key. The RASKL holds as many as 40 modern electronic keys and is depot repairable. "There have been high levels of demand in the market for a tactical, small, lightweight, and easy to use key fill device to replace the aging KYK-13," says John Walsh, president of Sypris Electronics. "We engaged users across numerous government services and agencies throughout the design and development process. RASKL truly is built for users, by users."
