VIENNA, Va., 23 Jan. 2007. LGS, a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent dedicated to serving the U.S. Government community, is now fully operational and serving its customers. LGS, headquartered in Vienna, Va., was created by joining the Lucent and Alcatel Government business units and Bell Labs Government. LGS is the sole sales and contracting channel for all classified and unclassified business contracted from U.S. federal agencies and departments, both military and civilian.
