HERNDON, Va., 7 Sept. 2007. IceWEB Inc. won a contract award from a Department of Defense agency to provide Network Anomaly Detection.

IceWEB will provide the DoD with Network Anomaly Detection Systems (ADS), network behavior analysis systems, that enhance network intelligence and security by auditing network flow data from existing infrastructure devices.

The solution will give the government a clear view of their network's behavior while automatically detecting active security threats, risky user behavior, performance issues, and noncompliant activities, such as policy violations and unapproved network changes.

The solution will enable the Department of Defense to:

Monitor ports, services, and applications on the network for unusual activity.

Automatically analyze network and asset changes and their impacts on network performance, traffic profiles, new hosts, and services.

Pinpoint network and security issues quickly, control network usage, and limit risk of propagating infections.
