FLIR Systems receives $36.4 million order from U.S. Army for multisensor systems

PORTLAND, Ore., 29 June 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $36.4 million firm fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., its Star SAFIRE III stabilized multisensor systems. The units delivered under this contract will support the U.S. Marine Corps G-BOSS (Ground-Based Optical Surveillance System) program. Work will be performed in FLIR's Portland, Ore., production facility. Deliveries will begin immediately.
