Cedip introduces high-speed infrared camera for high-sensitivity applications

The Jade SWIR provides broader spectral response and higher performance than InGaAs based cameras, company officials say. This broader spectral response is particularly important for applications requiring high sensitivity at infrared wavelengths out to 2.5 microns, such as the water absorption band at 1.95 microns.

The camera operates as fast as 200 frames per second at a full image size of 320 by 256 pixels with output digitized over a 14-bit dynamic range. It also comes with Cedip's PC-based ALTAIR real-time recording, analysis, and reporting software.

A wide selection of lenses and filters are available to meet specific application requirements including infrared signature analysis, online thermal analysis and process control, infrared thermography and research & development.
