FLIR Systems wins $9.3 million order from Naval Surface Warfare Center

PORTLAND, Ore., 19 Oct. 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. has received a $9.3 million fixed-price contract from NSWC, Crane Division, for AN/KAX-1A Maritime Forward-Looking Infrared systems. The stabilized, lightweight, multisensor systems delivered under this contract will support the Long Range Ground Mobility Visual Augmentation Systems (LR-GMVAS) Program and provide ground vehicles with an all-weather, day/night, high-resolution, stabilized, thermal imaging capability.

PORTLAND, Ore., 19 Oct. 2007.FLIR Systems Inc. has received a $9.3 million fixed-price contract from NSWC, Crane Division, for AN/KAX-1A Maritime Forward-Looking Infrared systems. The stabilized, lightweight, multisensor systems delivered under this contract will support the Long Range Ground Mobility Visual Augmentation Systems (LR-GMVAS) Program and provide ground vehicles with an all-weather, day/night, high-resolution, stabilized, thermal imaging capability.

Work will be performed at FLIR's facilities in North Billerica, Mass. Deliveries will begin in 2008 and extend into 2012.
