LOS ANGELES, 23 May 2007. Strategy X Inc. representatives have announced final awards totaling $445 million in grants to strengthen the ability of ports, transit, and intercity bus systems to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters and other emergencies.

The awards are part of the 2007 Infrastructure Protection Program (IPP), which has provided nearly $2 billion in grants to strengthen critical infrastructure facilities and transportation systems. Strategy X has the ability to ensure protection of information systems for critical infrastructure, including emergency preparedness communications and the physical assets that support such systems.

By definition CIP is a Presidential directive (PDD-63) that calls for a national effort to assure the security of the increasingly vulnerable and interconnected infrastructures of the U.S.

Strategy X's EBSA is a performance-based solution that tests the effectiveness of security systems as a whole. Once the system is analyzed possible solutions to system failures can be tested and evaluated to design the most effective and cost-efficient security system.

This will also be the main operational objective of the Strategy X simulation training facility to promote and support research, study, and technology development, leading to practical solutions to current and future security challenges America faces at home and around the world.
