VANCOUVER, British Columbia - SPARC AI Inc. has introduced Overwatch Patrol, a mobile application that provides location information and team-position sharing for soldiers and security personnel operating in environments where Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals are jammed, spoofed, degraded, or unavailable.

Overwatch Patrol uses SPARC AI's Overwatch Positioning Network, a cloud-based positioning service, and can be accessed through a native mobile application or a standard web browser. The company says the system requires no additional positioning hardware, external receivers, or antennas.

The application enables teams to share their positions on a common map without relying on GPS. Users can join or leave a group using a code generated by the group's commander, eliminating the need for a central administrator or preconfigured devices, according to SPARC AI.

Overwatch Patrol also lets team members set shared rally points on the map. Other users can view the designated locations and navigate to them independently, helping coordinate rendezvous when patrol members become separated or need to change their planned route.

SPARC AI says it is discussing potential integrations with tactical radio network providers to extend shared positioning information across existing military communications infrastructure. The company has not announced an integration agreement.

The application is part of SPARC AI's broader effort to provide positioning capabilities in environments where satellite navigation is unreliable or unavailable.
