SHIPS helps ingest information rapidly, and transports high-volume data quickly and securely from sensors to command-and-control centers.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – CRU Data Security Group LLC in Vancouver, Wash., is introducing the Secure High Performance Storage (SHIPS) removable PCI Express and NVMe data storage for military, industrial, and high-performance commercial trusted computing applications.

SHIPS is designed to secure, store, and transport data securely, quickly and cost-effectively.

The system helps ingest information rapidly from tactical, IoT, and other devices where high speed networks aren't always available. SHIPS transports high-volume data quickly and securely from sensors to command-and-control centers.

Users can incorporate SHIPS trusted-computing data storage onto aircraft, vehicles, and custom applications. It includes products such as:

Related: Secure data storage for battlefield networking

-- the QX448 ingestion frame for standard 5.25-inch bays that support as many as four SHIPS storage modules operating simultaneously at full bandwidth;

-- the Q80 standard and Q80R ruggedized SHIPS high-speed NVMe storage modules in 512-gigabyte, 1-, and 2-terabyte capacities and are qualified for more than 20,000 mate-and-demate cycles;

-- cables and adapters for host computers that are tested and qualified to ensure high performance signal integrity; and

-- the QX118 ingestion frame for 9-millimeter optical disk drive slots, which supports one SHIPS storage module.
