Available in commercial and extended-temperature variants, the card has been designed for use with VME, VPX, and Compact PCI processor cards.

CAMBRIDGE, England – Cambridge Pixel in Cambridge, England is introducing the HPx-450 dual-stream card to provide a flexible Switched Mezzanine Card (XMC) for embedded computing radar acquisition.

Available in commercial and extended-temperature variants, the card has been designed for use with VME, VPX, and Compact PCI processor cards.

Interfacing options support different radar signal types including single-ended, differential, open-collector, opto-isolated, and programmable thresholds.

This enables systems designers to interface to standard trigger, azimuth and video signals. A PCI Express x4 interface supports data transfers faster than 500 megabytes per second to sample and capture high-resolution radar data from several different channels.

The hardware has support from Cambridge Pixel's radar signal processing, target tracking, network distribution and radar visualization software. For custom developments, a board support library with SDK is available.
