CAMBRIDGE, England - A single-slot 6U VME video windows display card, just introduced by Primagraphics of Cambridge, England, enables users to display multiple real-time, true- color video windows on a high- resolution monitor while simultaneously generating accelerated X overlay graphics.
Users can connect as many as eight video inputs (typically two RGB channels plus two monochrome video signals), and software-controlled crossbar switching enables users to connect the input signals to two separate video-grabbing circuits.
The Viper card also comes with X-windows system server support for such VME hosts as Sparc and Hewlett-Packard. It operates as a standalone product compatible with the company`s Primagraphics Advanced Radar Interface Software.
