Omniview tools to interface with Tornado

Officials of Omniview Design Inc. of San Mateo, Calif., are partnering with Wind River Systems of Alameda, Calif., to link the Omniview Cosmos electronic design automation tool to the Wind River Tornado consortium. Tornado is a group of software vendors whose tools are interoperable. The agreement means the latest version of Cosmos will include a software library that supports all the major microprocessor families that Tornado supports.
