Thomson qualifies IC line for QML

Thomson-CSF Semiconducteur Specifique of France has received the Mil-Prf-38535 certificate for the Qualified Manufacturing List program of the U.S. Department of Defense. Thomson is the first non-U.S. company to receive this certification. The company, which has been ISO 9001 certified since 1993, is represented in the U.S. by Thomson Components and Tubes Corp. in Totowa, N.J. Thomson`s QML certification covers the military and industrial versions of Motorola processors, including the newly available PowerPC family, proprietary fast A-D converters, and some flash and EPROM memories. - J.K.
