Wind River upgrades Tornado environment

Officials of Wind River Systems in Alameda, Calif., are rolling out the newest version of their Tornado development environment for real-time embedded systems. Tornado 1.0.1 includes a new graphical installation and setup procedure to ease its use and speed the customer`s product time to market. Its application programming interface is also expanded to simplify the integration of new tools by developers and third-party partners.
