ILC offers 1-inch-square 1553 interface

ILC Data Device Corp. in Bohemia, N.Y., is making prototypes available of its newest Mini-Ace family of terminals serving as interfaces between a host processor and Mil-Std-1553 bus. the BU-65178 are packaged in identical 1-square-inch multichip modules with the same signal footprint. ILC officials say the device is the smallest fully integrated 1553 interface terminal in the industry. It has bidirectional address latches and data buffers that interface to a host processor bus.
