Ampro Computers Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., is offering a 100-MHz 486DX4-based PC/104 single-board computer for hostile rugged applications. The CoreModule/4DXi, which includes CPU, DMA, interrupts, two serial ports, and floppy and IDE drive controllers, supports a standard operating temperature range of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius, with a screened product available by special order to operate in a range of -40 to 85 C.
