TEMPE, Ariz., 16 Sept. 2005. Dynaco Corp. in Tempe, Ariz., has qualified to U.S. Department of Defense performance specification MIL-PRF-31032 for using best commercial practices for military performance needs in printed circuit boards.

Dynaco also qualifies to associated specifications MIL-PRF-31032/1 and MIL-PRF-31032/2 for rigid constructions, plus MIL-PRF-31032/3 and MIL-PRF-31032/4 for rigid-flex constructions of printed circuit boards.

"We are serious about our technical leadership in the high-reliability printed circuit board marketplace," says Dynaco President Steve Dutton.

"Our initial qualification allows us to supply up to 10 layer rigid and rigid-flex constructions, similar to our qualifications under MIL-PRF-55110F and MIL-P-50884C," Dutton says. "Our intentions are to very quickly qualify for up to 20 layer designs, which is more indicative of the current high-end demand in the market."

Qualification to MIL-PRF-31032 is an increasingly common requirement for new designs for military and high-reliability printed circuit board applications. Dynaco maintains qualification to MIL-PRF-55110F and MIL-P-50884C for existing designs and also can ship parts that the requirements of applicable specifications such as IPC-6012, IPC-6013 and IPC-6018.

Dynaco fabricates high reliability printed circuit boards and assemblies for military and aerospace applications. The company, which specializes in the fabrication of challenging rigid-flex and flex circuit constructions, also produces rigid circuit boards and specialized circuit boards requiring high performance substrates.
