1U rackmount computer for cyber security and networking applications introduced by WIN Enterprises

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., 16 March 2015. WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the PL-80730 1U rackmount computer for cyber security, Internet security, and other networking applications.
The device is suitable for securing network domains in the enterprise or data center. The unit is designed with the Cavium CN61XX/CN60XX family processors for UTM/VPN/firewall, packet processing, and deep packet inspection in servers, switches, and routers. In addition, these Cavium family lines have Authentik anti-counterfeiting technologies.
The device supports a DDR3 SO-DIMM memory socket, nine Gigabit Ethernet ports with bypass function based on Marvell 88E1240/1310, and LED indicators to monitor activity and transfer rate.
The back panel has one console port for local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. PL-80730 supports onboard eMMc or NOR flash for boot device support and has space for an optional 2.5- or 3.5-inch SATA hard drive, and has two mini-PCI Express slots for incremental wired or wireless Ethernet modules.
