COM Express board for small-form-factor embedded computing introduced by Connect Tech

GUELPH, Ontario, 28 Sept. 2016. Connect Tech in Guelph, Ontario, is introducing the CMG601 COM Express board using the TK1 processor for small-form-factor embedded computing applications.

The NVIDIA Tegra K1 (TK1) contains 192 supercomputer-class GPU cores with the NVIDIA 4-Plus-1 2.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU. The CMG601 delivers 325 billion floating point operations per second computing power with a low 15 Watt energy level.

This product is designed to be deployed with a COM Express Type 6 carrier board. The COM Express Tegra K1 is able to operate at a commercial temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius or extended -20 to 70 C.

The COM Express boards offer quad-Core performance based on NVIDIA 4-Plus-1 quad-core ARM Cortex-A15; advanced graphics powered by NVIDIA Kepler architecture 192-core CUDA GPU; 2 gigabytes DDR3L memory with 64-bit width; 2 independent displays supported; CUDA 6.5, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.0, OpenGL 4.4, and Open CL 1.1; module sizes of 95 by 95 millimeters.
