Rugged QorIQ P2020-based 6U VME single-board computer introduced by Curtiss-Wright for system upgrades
OTTAWA, 3 Oct. 2011. Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing in Ottawa is introducing the affordable, rugged SVME/DMV-194 VME single board computers. The 6U VME64 CPU board is based on a Freescale Power Architecture QorIQ P2020 processor with dual 1.2 GHz cores. The air- or conduction-cooled computer board is for upgrading existing systems with size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) constraints systems based on relatively old PowerPC or Power Architecture processors, Curtiss-Wright officials say.
