(X-ES) in Middleton, Wis., is introducing three 6U single-board computers based on the Freescale QorIQ P2020 processor: the VPX XCalibur1740, the VME XCalibur1730, and the CompactPCI XCalibur1700.These three 6U computer boards for embedded computing applications come in air- and conduction-cooled versions and meet MIL-STD 810F. Features of the three embedded computers include:-- Freescale QorIQ P2020 processor with two 1.2-GHz PowerPC e500 cores;-- as many as eight gigabytes of DDR3-800 ECC SDRAM;-- as many as 16 gigabytes of user flash and 256 megabytes of boot flash;-- two XMC/PrPMC sites;-- three Gigabit Ethernet ports;-- one SATA 3-gigabit-per-second port;-- two serial ports;-- one USB port; and-- Green Hills integrity, Wind River VxWorks, and Linux software support.
