Dual-socket AdvancedTCA node blade for telecommunications applications introduced by Diversified Technology

RIDGELAND, Miss., 13 May 2011. Diversified Technology Inc. (DTI) in Ridgeland, Miss., is introducing the ATC7000 dual-socket AdvancedTCA node blade for next-generation telecommunications applications. The ATCA blade server has 12 cores of processing power (24 simultaneous threads with HyperThreading enabled), and features dual Intel Xeon 5600 series Westmere processors. The ATC7000 provides support for as much as 64 gigabytes memory and an optional RTM with additional network interface options. The board is PICMG 3.0 compliant, and provides for LTE/4G and other next-generation wireless and wireline applications.
