Mastek wins contract with Thales UK, helps develop Swift2Move software

LONDON, 3 April 2008. MajescoMastek's parent company, Mastek, an international software solutions company, has been selected as a sub-contractor to Thales UK, to supply the winning solution for the Air Movement Operations Capability requirement for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in the United Kingdom.

The Thales-led partnership of Mastek, Fujitsu Services, and Flyware has developed the "Swift2Move" software solution to meet the MoD's requirement to manage and schedule the global air movements of troops and cargo which will be deployed over the Defence Information Infrastructure (DII). The total contract win is in the range of £27m GBP and will be implemented over the next 10 years.
