Rugged 6U VPX power product for military and commercial aerospace applications introduced by NAI

BOHEMIA, N.Y., 30 Oct. 2014. North Atlantic Industries (NAI) in Bohemia, N.Y., is introducing the VPX56-6 rugged 6U VPX power product for rugged military and commercial aerospace applications.

BOHEMIA, N.Y., 30 Oct. 2014. North Atlantic Industries (NAI) in Bohemia, N.Y., is introducing the VPX56-6 rugged 6U VPX power electronics product for rugged military and commercial aerospace applications.

The VPX56-6 provides as much as 700 Watts of power (CC4 temperature range, full load) with five outputs and complies with MIL-STD-704F.

Other features of the embedded computing power device include current share, remote error sensing, and a built-in EMI filter that complies with MIL-STD-461, CE-102 -- all within one slot 1.0. pitch, 6U package.

The VPX56-6 is designed to meet standard 6U VPX mechanical requirements and has VITA 62 compatible outputs and signaling.
