Elbit Systems wins roughly $50 million in contracts to deliver artillery, radio systems

HAIFA, Israel, 15 Oct. 2012. Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:ESLT) won two contracts, with a total value of roughly $50 million, to supply defense systems to an undisclosed country in the Far East.

HAIFA, Israel, 15 Oct. 2012.Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:ESLT) won two contracts, with a total value of roughly $50 million, to supply defense systems to an undisclosed country in the Far East.

Elbit Systems will supply the country's Artillery Corps with the ATMOS autonomous artillery system, under a $30 million, three-year contract. The ATMOS system is designed to be mounted on various wheeled platforms and to enhance mission flexibility, reaction speed, and survivability of the crew and the system.

The company will also supply the country's Armed Forces with personal radio systems, under a one-year, roughly $20 million contract.
