WOBURN, Mass. – Concurrent Technologies Inc. in Woburn, Mass., is introducing the TR H4x/3sd-RCx rugged 3U VPX embedded computing board for compute intensive applications that has been developed to align with an OpenVPX profile based on feedback from the SOSA Consortium.

The TR H4x/3sd-RCx comes with a 40 Gigabit Ethernet data plane connection, front panel graphics, USB connection, and operates from one 12-volt power rail.

The TR H4x/3sd-RCx has a 12-core Intel Xeon processor D-1559 and 64 gigabytes of soldered-down DDR4 memory. Thermal qualification is scheduled for this spring to confirm that the processor device operate 100 percent loading.

Concurrent Technologies is offering variants of the SOSA-aligned board fitted with either 512 gigabytes or 1 terabyte of direct-attached FIPS-197 encrypted data storage using an M.2 module carrier while maintaining one slot solution.

These M.2 modules are factory-fitted for ease of use, and further storage options are planned for later in 2019. Several security options are available, including TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, Sanitization Utilities, and enhanced security package for specific embedded computing needs.
