Aeroflex introduces radiation-hardened mixed-signal ASICs for space applications
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., 8 Nov. 2006. Aeroflex in Colorado Springs, Colo., is offering radiation-hardened mixed signal application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) in 0.6-micron (5-volt) and 0.35-micron (3.3-to-10-volt) geometries for space applications.
Aeroflex's RadHard Mixed-Signal ASICs combine high-performance analog with digital logic to specialize in precision-data-conversion products.
Aeroflex is QML Q and V certified with the U.S. Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) in Columbus, Ohio, for 0.6-micron CMOS technology, and QML Q certified for 0.35-micron technology. Company officials say they expect to receive QML V certification for 0.35-micron technology soon.
The company's future plans include radiation-hardened 0.18-micron triple-well CMOS technology and radiation-hardened standard data converter products for space applications.
