Applications include telecommunications, instrumentation, computers, peripherals, and consumer electronics.

The device's contact rating is 12 volts DC at 50 milliamps. Its mechanical life is 80,000 cycles, its operating temperature is -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, and it is RoHS compliant.
