WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., 8 June 2007. ITT Electronic Systems in White Plains, N.Y., and the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division in Crane, Ind., are partnering on a project to repair high-power devices in electronic warfare systems.

NSWC will provide facilities and engineering and technical support to ITT Electronic Systems Depot Repair processes that will mitigate industrial base capacity limits resulting from the loss of Original Equipment Manufacturers and other vendors.

The potential $5 million agreement continues through August 2011. All ITT Electronic Systems facilities, including Electronic Warfare Systems in Clifton, N.J., and Radar Systems-Gilfillan in Van Nuys, Calif.,, will support the contract.

This agreement represents the first Public-Private Partnership Agreement for ITT Electronic Systems, integrating the best available industry and government resources to more effectively support American warfighters and achieve common goals.
