BOHEMIA, N.Y. – Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is introducing the SB-3642 conversion and SB-3644 synchro/resolver conversion and simulation PMC boards that be used first in the lab, and then be readily designed into embedded computing applications.

The simulation boards have several independent channels and programmability to test and simulate positioning systems. They can move from lab to the field by the switch of a carrier card.

The boards come with the Motion Feedback Software Development Kit (SDK) to enable users to plug, play, and start converting. The boards offer fast time-to-simulate, require no calibration, meet VITA-47 shock/vibration specifications, and are RoHS-compliant.

"These versatile, high-accuracy motion feedback and simulation PMC boards were for ease-of-use in mind, to simplify lab and embedded use, while also providing the ruggedness required for extreme environments," says Rolf Mahler, manager of the DDC power solutions business unit.
