HENDERSON, Nev. – VadaTech Inc. in Henderson, Nev., is introducing the AMC350 quad HDMI/DVI H.264 encoder for embedded computing applications such as surveillance, broadcast, robotics, telemedicine, and industrial imaging.

This Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) single-module design encodes full HD to H.264, MPEG-4 and H.263 with throughput up to 1920 by 1088 pixels at 60 frames per second in a compact multi-channel unit. The MPEG4-SP encoder is compatible with the ISO/IEC 14496-2 specification.

Encoded data is available via a choice of PCI Express or Gigabit Ethernet backplane routing. Images as small as 96 by 16 pixels can be encoded, and the encoder rate control is designed for macro block-level rate control to frame-level rate control.

VadaTech offers video processing modules including three generations of graphics cards, H.264 encoders, video transcoding platforms, high-performance & low-latency video mixers. Products are available in standard modular form factors including ATCA/MTCA and VPX.
